Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut
The rising star boasts impressive social media audience
The young golfer can count on numerous well-known backers as she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous golf courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa essentially suggested to go out there and have fun," she explained.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He told me to play, relax, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, particularly reaching the next generation.
Kai boasts millions of followers and recently launched a personal fashion and living brand.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
