Two men have been charged following a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and two counts of administering a noxious substance, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, police said.

A young child was caught up in the incident in the event. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were later discharged.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
